REQUIRED COACH TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS
All head coaches and assistant coaches need to complete the appropriate level trainings for their age divisions.
MAKE SURE TO CREATE YOUR OWN ACCOUNT USING YOUR EMAIL WHEN YOU REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER.
COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Register as a volunteer and complete the background check. This is a 2 step process. CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS
2. Get a Live Scan Fingerprinting completed. Our region will have an opportunity for volunteers to get this completed. Or you can complete this if unable to attend a region hosted event. LIVESCAN SERVICES
3. Log onto your account at ayso37.org and Take online trainings on ETRAINU/AYSOU for the following: CLICK HERE FOR ETRAINU/AYSOU INSTRUCTIONS
Under training library->Safe Haven
-Safe Haven 2022(No audio)
-Sudden Cardiac Arrest
-CDC Concussion Awareness
-Safe Sport
4. Take division specific coach course.
Training Library->Coaching
-6U-complete the 6U Coach online
-7U and 8U-complete the 8U Coach online
-10U-complete 10U coaching-online + in person Field session. You will need to attend the In-Person Training Event to complete the certification.
-12U-complete 12U coach Training Pre-course (Part 1)-online. You will need to attend the In-Person Part 2 to complete the Certification.
-14U Complete the Intermediate 14U Pre-course (Part 1)-online. You will need to attend the In-person Part 2 to complete the Certification.
-16U and older-Complete the Advanced Coach Pre-Course online. You will need to attend the In-Person Part 2 to complete the Certification.
5. For the In-Person portion for the 10U and above sessions you need to enroll after you have completed the online portion.
In person session will he held at the start of the soccer season.
Click on Training Event and search dates for Region 37. If you are unable to attend the class here in our region you are able to take it in another
region. Search by Location rather than region to find a location that you are able to attend.
6. Obtain Virtual Badge. This is required for when you check in at the tent before your games. Wait for instructions at Coach meeting. CLICK HERE FOR VIRTUAL BADGE INSTRUCTIONS
